Paper Cast or Cast Paper Wall Sculpture

PAPER CASTS (also called cast paper wall sculpture) are perhaps the most elegant of the various expression of wall art. It is normally pure white and relies on light and shadow to make its statement. It does not shout its message to the viewer but its simplicity and elegance draws the eye to itself and then it quietly makes it statement. It deserves the most prominent location in the home or lobby or over the fireplace of ones favorite lodge.

Because of the great amount of labor involved in creating these wall sculptures, very few are available for purchase anywhere. Each cast of an edition are created by hand and over the process, excluding the creation of the matrix to make them, upwards of a week is needed to make one.

In that each one is created by hand no two are exactly alike and so they are normally referred to as "multiple originals" or "original reproductions." For this reason alone they are highly collectable. Beyond that, with the exception of the pair of eagle busts, I keep the edition size to a hundred to enhance the extrinsic preciousness of each cast.

The dimensions which are given will also include the relief (the distance the relief extends from the back) as this is needed to insure the proper amount of clearance inside of the glass of the frame.
